Much of the information in The Living Cookbook is displayed in HTML views that work just like web pages on the Internet. They utitlize HTML for rich formatting and useful hyperlinks.

The task toolbar buttons serve as quick links to commonly performed tasks. Clicking a task toolbar button is the same as selecting the corresponding menu item from the task menu.
New - Create a new item (item created depends on context)
Edit - Edit the selected item
Delete - Delete the selected item
Refresh - Refresh the
current view
Properties - Modify the properties of the current view
Print preview -
Preview the selected item
Print - Print the selected item
Export - Export the selected item
E-mail - E-mail the selected
item
Many of the HTML views contain hyperlinks to other parts of the application. When you move your mouse over a hyperlink the text will turn red. In the example below clicking on the hyperlink will take you to the glossary item titled "Saturated Fat."
Clicking on the hyperlink in the example below will open up your web browser and display the National Fisheries Institute web site.
Note: This only works if you are connected to the Internet.
HTML views can be previewed and printed. As shown below, printed recipes look exactly the same as they do on the screen.
