Show AllLiving Cookbook has to perform many tasks when importing data. Recipes need to be parsed, validated, organized and written to the databae. Living Cookbook normally imports recipes at a rate of 2-10 per second. Please take this into account when importing large data files.
Living Cookbook performs best when cookbook chapters contain no more than 100 recipes. Please take this into account when importing recipes. If you import 100,000 recipes into a single chapter, your performance will be degraded accordingly. To restore the application's performance, simply use the optimize chapter performance or move multiple recipes features to organize the recipes into chapters and subchapters with fewer recipes.
