E-mail MasterCook 4 files

Recipe data can be e-mailed using the MasterCook 4 (MXP) file type. Use the FDX file format to export other data types (ingredients, menus, meals, etc.).

  1. On the File menu, click E-mail.
  2. Choose the file type.
    1. Select MasterCook 4 (MXP).
    2. Click Next.
  3. Choose the data you want to e-mail.
    1. Click Add to select more recipes to e-mail.
    2. Click Next.
  4. Choose the export options.
    1. Click the Recipe Options ellipsis button .
    2. Select the Recipe Elements you want to export.
    3. Click OK to close the Recipe Export Properties window.
    4. Click Next.
  5. Compose your e-mail message.
    1. Enter the recipient's e-mail addresses in the To box.

      2. Tip  You can enter multiple recipient addresses by putting a semicolon between each e-mail address.

    2. Enter the e-mail subject in the Subject box.
    3. Enter your e-mail message in the Message box.
  6. Review the e-mail progress.
    1. Click the Save Log if you wish to save the export log as a text file.
  7. Click Finish to close the window.
