E-mail FDX files

The following data types can be e-mailed using the Food Data Exchange XML (FDX) format: recipes, ingredients, menus, meals, glossary items, cooking techniques, grocery lists, inventory items, store ingredients, publications, web pages and searches.

  1. On the File menu, click E-mail.
  2. Choose the file type.
    1. Select FDX.
    2. Click Next.
  3. Choose the data you want to e-mail.
    1. Click Add to select more data to e-mail.
    2. Click Next.
  4. Choose the export options.
    1. Click the appropriate export option ellipsis buttons to select the export options for you file export.

      2. Note  The export option ellipsis buttons will be enabled based on the type of data to be exported.

    2. Click Next.
  5. Compose your e-mail message.
    1. Enter the recipient's e-mail addresses in the To box.

      2. Tip  You can enter multiple recipient addresses by putting a semicolon between each e-mail address.

    2. Enter the e-mail subject in the Subject box.
    3. Enter your e-mail message in the Message box.
  6. Review the e-mail progress.
    1. Click the Save Log if you wish to save the export log as a text file.
  7. Click Finish to close the window.
