How do I move Living Cookbook 2026 to a new computer?

The easiest way to move your Living Cookbook data to a new computer is to create a backup file on the old computer and then restore that backup file on your new computer. Please try the following:

1. Run Living Cookbook 2026 on your old computer.
2. Close the workspace window by selecting Close from the File menu.
3. Create a backup file with all of your data by selecting Backup from the File menu.
4. Verify the backup file by selecting Verify Backup File from the File menu.
5. Once you are satisfied that the backup file is valid, copy the backup file onto your new computer.
6. Click here to download the latest version of Living Cookbook 2026.
7. On your new computer, double-click on the downloaded file (LCSetep15.exe) to install Living Cookbook 2026.
8. Run and register Living Cookbook 2026.
9. Close the workspace window by selecting Close from the File menu.
10. Restore the backup file you created in step 3 by selecting Restore from the File menu.
