Create a cooking technique

  1. Select the Reference Navigator tab.

  2. On the Action menu, point to New, and then click Cooking Technique.

    3. - or -

    Right-click on the navigator treeview and then, on the popup menu, point to New, and then click Cooking Technique.

    - or -

    Select a cooking technique in the Navigator treeview and click New on the task toolbar.

  3. Click the Cooking Technique tab.
  4. Enter the cooking technique properties.

    1. Type the name of the cooking technique in the Name box.
    2. Click the Folder ellipsis button to select a folder for the cooking technique.
    3. Type the cooking technique source in the Source box.
    4. Type the web page of the cooking technique source in the Web Page box.
    5. Type comments on the cooking technique in the Comments box
  5. Click the Text tab.
  6. Enter the text.


      1. Click Add to add a new text row.
      2. Type the text of the cooking tip in the Text column.

        3. Tip  Click Move Up or Move Down to change the order of the tips.

  7. Click the Text tab.
  8. Click Check Spelling to check the spelling of the cooking technique.

  9. Click OK.
