Export MasterCook 5/6 files

Recipe data can be exported using the MasterCook 5/6 (MX2) file type. Use the FDX file format to export other data types (ingredients, menus, meals, etc.).

  1. On the File menu, click Export.
  2. Choose the export file type.
    1. Select MasterCook 5/6 (MX2).
    2. Click Next.
  3. Choose the export file.
    1. Click the Export File ellipsis button to select a file name for your export.

      2. Tip  Click Add to select more recipes to export.

    2. Click Next.
  4. Choose the export options.
    1. Click the Recipe Options ellipsis button .
    2. Select the Recipe Elements you want to export.
    3. Click OK to close the Recipe Export Properties window.
    4. Click Next.
  5. Review the export progress.
    1. Click the Save Log if you wish to save the export log as a text file.
  6. Click Finish to close the window.
