.The launchpad is an optional pane that appears above the task pane. It is a
feature designed especially for new users of Living Cookbook. As you explore
the application, the launchpad will list the available options and features
depending on what you have selected. Once you have become familiar with Living
Cookbook's capabilities, you can hide the launchpad. To display the launchpad,
select Launchpad from the View menu or click the Launchpad toolbar button .
