Customize the recipe list
Tip Click on the hyperlinks next to the arrows
to expand each section
or click the show all link at the top right of this page.
- Select the Recipe Navigator tab.
How?
- Select a cookbook or cookbook chapter in the Navigator treeview to display
a list of recipes in the task pane.
- On the View menu click Properties.
- or -
Right-click on the task pane and then, on the popup menu, click Properties.
- or -
Click Properties
on the task toolbar.
- Click the Columns tab.
Select
the columns you want to display in the recipe list.
- Click Add to add new columns.
- Click Move Up or Move Down to change the order of the
columns.
Tip Click Delete to remove a column.
Tip Click Default to reset the columns
to their original order.
- Click the Group tab.
Specify
the way the rows should be grouped.
- Click Add to specify the group column.
Tip Click Delete to remove the group
column.
Note The recipe list can't have more than
one group column.
- Click the Sort tab.
Specify
the sort order of the recipe list.
- Click Add to add a new sort key.
- Click Ascending box to toggle between ascending and descending
order.
- Click Move Up or Move Down to change the order of the
sort keys.
Tip Click Delete to remove a sort
key.
Note There is no limit to the number of
sort keys you can use.
- Click the Display tab.
Specify
the display settings for the recipe list.
- Select the recipe list display settings.
Tip Click Default to restore the
default settings.
- Click the Print tab.
Specify
the print settings for the recipe list.
- Under Page Heading select Default or Custom depending
on whether you want the default page heading or a custom page heading.
- Click Display column headings if you want column headings to
appear on your printout.
- Enter the number of columns you want to print in the Number of columns
to print box.
- Select Only print selected rows if you only want to print the
selected row.
- Click OK.
Note The recipe list properties are saved in the Windows registry so your recipe list will have the same properties the next time you run Living Cookbook.
