Working with custom recipe types

Living Cookbook lets you choose from built-in recipe types, but also lets you add your own. To set the recipe type for a recipe, try the following:

  1. Select the Recipe Navigator tab.

    2. How?

  2. Select the recipe you want to edit.
  3. On the Action menu, click Edit Recipe.

    4. - or -

    Right-click on the navigator treeview and then, on the popup menu, click Edit Recipe.

    - or -

    Click Edit on the task toolbar.

  4. Click the Recipe tab.

  5. Click Recipe Type ellipsis button .

  6. Click on a recipe type in the Available Recipe Types list or enter one or more recipe types in the Recipe Type box.

    7. Tip  Use the recipe type box to add custom recipe types to this recipe.

    Tip  Click the Master Recipe Type List button to add custom recipe types to the application. This will make the custom recipe types available throughout the application (not just in the selected recipe).

  7. Click OK to close the Recipe Type window.
  8. Click OK to close the Edit Recipe window.
