Create a grocery list to restock inventory

Tip  Click on the hyperlinks next to the arrows to expand each section or click the show all link at the top right of this page.

  1. Select the Shopping Navigator tab.
  2. How?

  3. On the Action menu, point to New, and then click Grocery List .
  4. - or -

    Right-click on the navigator treeview and then, on the popup menu, point to New, and then click Grocery List.

    Select an ingredient in the Grocery treeview and click New on the task toolbar.

  5. Enter the grocery list properties.
    1. Type the name of the grocery list in the Name box.
    2. Click the Grocery List Folder ellipsis button to select a grocery list folder for the new ingredient.
    3. Type the grocery list comments in the Comments box.
    4. Note  Only the grocery list name and grocery list folder are mandatory. Comments are optional.

    5. Select "Restock inventory" as the Grocery list type.
    6. Note  The remainder of these instructions assumes that you chose Restock inventory as the grocery list type..

  6. Select the inventory items to restock.
    1. Click the checkbox next to the inventory items or inventory item folders you want to restock.
  7. Select the grocery list stores.
    1. Click the checkbox next to the store (or stores) where you will shop. This will help Living Cookbook select the correct prices for your grocery list items.
    2. Select a default store from the Default Store list. If you shop at two or more stores and Living Cookbook can't determine where you buy a particular item, it will assign it to the default store.
  8. Enter the grocery list notes.
    1. Click Add to add a new note.
    2. Tip  Click Move Up or Move Down to change the order of the notes.

  9. Click Check Spelling to check the spelling of the grocery list.
  10. How?

  11. Click OK.
