Choosing an export file format
Living Cookbook supports a variety of export file formats. The one you choose
depends on a number of factors, the most important of which are 1) who you are
sending the file to; and 2) what software the recipient has.

  - Choose FDX if you are sharing information with people who use Living
Cookbook, Diet Pro or Bartender's Companion. FDX is the only file format that
supports sharing of ingredient, menu, calendar, glossary item, cooking technique,
    web page and search information.
- Choose HTML if you are sharing information with people who do not
have recipe management software. You can export recipes, ingredients, cooking
techniques and glossary items in HTML format. Data exported as HTML can be
viewed using any web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer, Netscape, etc.). HTML
data cannot be imported by Living Cookbook, Diet Pro or Bartender's Companion.
- Choose MX2 if you are sharing information wth people who use MasterCook
    5 or MasterCook 6.
- Choose MXP if you are sharing information with people who use MasterCook
    4.
- Choose Meal-Master if you are sharing information with people who
use recipe software other than Living Cookbook, Diet Pro, Bartender's Companion
    and MasterCook.
