Installing the software
|

Run the Living Cookbook installation program by double-clicking
on LCSetup15.exe. |
• |
If you can't remember where you saved the setup file, you
can search for the file by clicking Start, pointing to
Search, and clicking Files and Folders. Search
for the file name LCSetup15.exe. |
• |
Once you have found the setup file, run the program and follow
the instructions on the screen. |

System requirements

Living Cookbook's system requirements are as follows: |

Windows 95/98/2000/NT/Me/XP. Living Cookbook will only work
on Macintosh computers running VirtualPC.

100 MB free hard disk space. |

Microsoft Data Access Components.
These components are normally installed as part of your operating

Upgrading your software
|
|
Starting with Living Cookbook 2005, you will need a version upgrade
license to upgrade to the latest version of the software. Your can
order your upgrade at the Radium
Technologies Store.
If you order the Living Cookbook 2005 license and upgrade on CD,
you will be charged $3.50, which covers shipping and handling to
U.S. addresses (a higher charge applies for shipments to international
addresses). If you download the 2005 upgrade and order just the
upgrade license, you will be charged $2.50 and your license will
be e-mailed to you.
It is recommended that you backup your
recipe database prior to upgrading to the new version. To
backup your database, select Backup from the File
menu and follow the prompts.
For licenses purchased after December 31, 2004, there will be a
nominal fee to upgrade to future versions of Living Cookbook.

We have successfully tested our software on many different types
of hardware running a variety of operating systems. If, however,
you experience difficulty installing your software, we want to know
and we want to help.
Answers to the most common installation questions are available
on the Living Cookbook Support Forum.
If you can't find what you are looking for, just post your question
and we will respond promptly. Typical response time is less than
six hours.

Uninstalling Living Cookbook

Click Start, point to Settings, and click Control
Panel. |

Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon. |
• |
Click Living Cookbook to remove the software. |
